with special healthcare needs and their families. Bring
your friends, family, and co-workers along to walk,
have fun, and raise awareness and funds to support programs
and services at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for
Children. A noncompetitive ½-mile or 3-mile event
with exciting activities for kids like games, face painting,
arts and crafts, entertainment and more. Registration

Blue Man Group Exhibit, Long Island

The Blue Man Group’s nationally touring children’s
exhibit is running now until 5/4. Making Waves encompasses
1,500 square feet and is designed to unite science and
art. Participants may see, feel, hear, and create sound
in fun-filled Blue Man style. Use Blue Man instruments
to emit unique sounds and experience a surround sound
theater. Children discover how sound is made, construct
dynamic instruments with PVC piping, and learn about
musical pitch, rhythm, and melody.
