The 2nd annual Bolshoi Ballet Academy New York Summer Intensive is a unique opportunity for pre-professional dancers to train with master teachers from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow. One male and one female student from the Intensive will be chosen to participate in a gala performance at the prestigious Bolshoi Theater! Applicants may opt to study at the brand new Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, located just blocks from Lincoln Center, or at an overnight campus outside the city. Both locations have housing options. The full-time overnight program offers evening cultural enrichment programming and excursions, though daily commuters are welcome. The Manhattan Intensive is day-time ballet training only. The program considers female and male students, ages 6 and older. Duets are encouraged to apply. Five-week session available from June 30-August 1; three-week session from June 30-July 18; and weekly enrollment options are offered. Group and private lessons available.
