For 39 years, Montessori School of New York International has offered a unique summer program consisting of a combination of academic Montessori learning experiences, as well as outdoor activities ranging from educational theme-based field trips to group sports activities. To ensure a well-rounded experience, children enjoy swimming, art, yoga, tennis and horseback riding, as well as a foreign language. Campers also enjoy drama, dance, music and gymnastics that culminate in weekly talent shows. Children usually find the summer program an exciting experience and a fun way to make academic progress while taking part in traditional camp activities. For elementary children, and advanced preschoolers, there is also individual academic tutoring available for rapid or average learners. For junior high students, SSAT and High School Entrance Exam preparation is available. Various camp sessions are available from Memorial Day through mid-August.
