Pace University is pleased, proud and grateful to celebrate its five year milestone with you this summer! Your tween or pre-college teen will blossom while exploring the arts at beautiful Pace University in downtown Manhattan. The superb teaching artists, who strive to cultivate the inherent creativity in each young person, lead tweens (9 to 13 years old) in snazzy new courses like Theater Arts with Film, Lights, Camera, Action, Storytelling, Creative Writing, Comic Strip Creation, Dance, Voice and Singing, and much more! Pre-college students (14 to 18 years old) explore innovative new courses like Screenwriting & Filmmaking, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Dance, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Yoga, Voice and Singing, and much more! All classes are student-centered with an emphasis on enhancing students’ creativity. No prior experience is required for any of the programs. Summer Arts 2007 runs from July 9-August 3, 2007. Programs are offered in both full and bi-weekly packages. Students also have the option of taking classes a la carte.
