A four-week summer intensive for talented 7-19
year-old students looking for a unique performing
arts experience is currently accepting students!
Two programs include Musical Theatre and Dance
for 7-19 year olds, and a Teen Acting Ensemble.
Four performance companies by age and ability.
In residence at the 800-seat Professional Performing
Arts Center and the Shadow Box Theatre at Queensborough
College! Includes classes such as acting, musical
theatre, voice, dance, on-camera, mime, comedy
improvisation, audition technique and more.
Choreography and Classes with working industry
professionals from Broadway, Regional Theatre,
Film & TV. See a sampling of the artists
you will be working with on the Web site. Musical
Theatre students perform in a fully-staged,
sell-out, song and dance revue on a professional
stage, choreographed by Broadway Guest Artists.
Teen Acting Ensemble will perform a fully staged
play. Both shows perform for the public. Full
day of theatre arts. Four weeks, Monday through
Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm, with final weekend
performances. Musical Theatre is July 3-July
30. Teen Acting Ensemble is June 26-July 23.
Convenient Queens location. Our talented students
come from the New York Metro region (including
Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Quuens &
Westchester), out-of-state, and even international.
Many students go on to performing arts high
schools, colleges and universities. Great preparations
for those, all ages, who will be auditioning
for schools and shows. See student successes

in 1985. Robert Laconi and Kristine Lewis are
Artistic Directors. All must audition to participate.
