Like a home away from home, Berkshire Hills - Emanuel Camps (BH-EC) allows campers to experience new activities, play, share and meet new friends day after day, summer after summer. While most of the 200 campers return annually, the nurturing and friendly counselors, spirited atmosphere and exciting programs make everyone at camp feel like they’re part of “the family” Whether in the bunk, down on the waterfront or out on the playing field, kids hone their interests and gain confidence in the long list of activities offered. Each day encompasses a combination of all types of programming, from special interests such as drama, art, golf, mountain biking, or time for hobbies, to team sports and water activities, which take place either in the spring-fed lake or the new Olympic-size swimming pool. Special days, talent shows and weekly activities like Jewish cultural workshops and exciting trips add to the incredible camp offerings. Just ask singing sensation, Jennifer Lopez, who went boating, played games and learned Israeli dances with BH-EC campers. In addition, teen campers embark on a five-day excursion with counselors and the children’s camp director, and enrichment programs in school subject areas as well as bar/bat mitzvah lessons are available for an additional fee.
