More than 100 years since its founding, Camp O-At-Ka
is still well-known and admired for its nurturing
environment and beautiful setting. Located on
the western shore of Lake Sebago near Portland
Maine, the camp provides young boys, ages 7-16,
with opportunities to learn and sharpen their
skills in a variety of areas such as archery,
photography and lacrosse while making life-long
friends. Campers will be challenged both individually
and in group activities, while sharing triumphs
and struggles and learning to respect and help
each other. Staff members offer guidance, instruction
and support at a 2:1 staff-to-camper ratio. It’s
no wonder that parents feel safe sending their
boys back every year and boys can’t wait
to return each summer. Several sessions are available
that range from 2 to 7 weeks, and once a boy reaches
the age of 16 he is encouraged to enroll in the
CIT program. Camp O-At-Ka has been rated as one
