FivePoints at Union College resides in the picturesque city of Schenectady, the heart of beautiful upstate New York. Rising 8th-12th grade students are invited to participate in the summer program’s two sessions (Session 1: July 6-18 and Session 2: July 20-August 1). The coed program holds 200 students. With complete access to Union College’s world-class facilities, FivePoints students live on a historic campus in the newly renovated College Park Hall. Each student can also look forward to an exciting New York City Adventure. Drawing on Union College’s excellence in teaching and commitment to cutting edge instruction, FivePoints is one of the most innovative and fun summer academic programs in the country. FivePoints is Union College’s answer for bright young minds searching for amazing summer experiences. This year, students may enjoy classes in Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Comics and Storyboarding, Creative Writing, Architecture 101, Forensic Science, Mass Media, Toy and Entertainment, and Engineering. Experiencing life on a college campus and academic immersion in one chosen field of study are the central pillars of the FivePoints program. Last summer, students lived in College Park Hall, the premier newly-renovated residence hall.
