Three award-winning overnight camps are located just a one and a half hour bus ride away in the beautiful Pocono Mountains: Pine Forest Camp for boys and girls, Camp Timber Tops for girls and Lake Owego Camp for boys. Family-owned and operated by the same dedicated family since 1931, all three camps have been bringing out the best in kids with their superior facilities, traditional summer camp style, gracious staff and well rounded programs since day one. As the bus pulls up to the lush wooded campsites, campers settle into their new, spacious cabins, meet and greet friends new and old and gear up for the more than 45 activities offered. At all three camps, campers can try their hand at a wide variety of activities— from sports to fine arts. Campers enjoy swimming in modern pools or sailing on the private lakes, arts & crafts projects like pottery and jewelry making, tennis lessons and soccer leagues. In the drama program, kids can do anything from act in a play to direct a film, and of course there’s nearly every adventure, field and water sport available under the sun. Supervising the many top-quality activities are some of the wonderful counselors, as Pine Forest, Timber Tops, and Lake Owego have about one staff member for every three campers. Activities continue into the night with action-packed evening fun, from campfires and dances, to movies, pool parties and wacky relays. Special Events like Olympic Days, Pioneer Days and Color Days enhance the camp spirit— just ask the campers who may soon become your child’s best friends.
